Weed Laws in Nebraska

Nebraska is a plains state. It’s home to both the Great Plains and the Dissected Till Plains. Interestingly, the state is bordered by six different states–Wyoming, Kansas, Iowa, South Dakota, Missouri, and Colorado–bringing between the midwest and the more mountainous states to the west.

Nebraska is a state rich in history, and it’s on full display in cities like Omaha and Lincoln. Omaha is home to the famous Orpheum Theatre. For a trip back in time, check out the Durham Museum. There, they’ve recreated authentic 1940’s storefronts and restored vintage train cars. Omaha’s Old Market is another place to get a more hands-on feel for the state’s history in its many shops and restaurants located in historic buildings. In Lincoln, the Nebraska History Museum boasts a collection of the state’s antiquities and artifacts. The Nebraska State Historical Society Headquarters maintains a database of family lineages and allows visitors to search their family history. Aviation fans rejoice! Visit the Strategic Air and Space Museum while you’re in Nebraska.

Omaha is the state’s arts center. In the summer the city hosts an arts festival to feature local artists and small businesses. There is plenty for families to do in Omaha too. There’s a children’s museum in the city, and your family can spend the day at the Aquacourt Family Water Park. Its water slides are well known among Omaha’s locals. If you aren’t traveling with kids, the area just outside Omaha is its own wine country, complete with craft wineries.
