  • In most states, the list of qualifying medical conditions is maintained by whichever government agency oversees the state’s medical cannabis program. That’s usually the state’s department of health or a cannabis control board. It should be possible for patients to petition the agency to add their condition, if it isn’t listed. You may also want to reach out to your local representatives in the state legislature for help.

Having a medical cannabis card will also enable you to work with your doctor to figure out the best treatment plan for your condition. That includes help with finding the best methods of using cannabis, strains, and dose.

  • You'll only be charged if you're approved for your medical marijuana certification. If not, your evaluation is free! Once you've been certified, a refund for services will no longer be available. Please send an email to support@nuggmd.com with the subject line “Refund Request” and a brief description of your issue. We want to make sure you're 100% satisfied with your purchase being that you, the customer, are the most important thing to us! Once a refund has been initiated, please allow 3-5 business days for the funds to transfer back to the card you used for the transaction. If you sign up and pay for your evaluation, but then cancel before your evaluation, there is a small $10 fee for the payment processing. A refund is no longer available more than 30 days after the date of your evaluation. If any issues arise, please feel free to reach back out for further assistance.

  • Wyoming doesn't currently have a medical marijuana program. In most states, any state-licensed medical professional within a few specializations can provide an initial or renewal recommendation for medical cannabis. That’s usually at least all medical doctors (MD) and doctors of osteopathy (DO). In some states it includes physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and a few other medical specialties.

  • Once medical cannabis is legalized in Wyoming, your ability to use your med card in other states will depend on the state to which you’re traveling. Each state has different rules regarding reciprocity, and some don’t allow it at all. Check with your destination state to learn more.

  • Wyoming will establish rules for med card registration once medical marijuana is legalized in the state. Many states allow patients to register with a passport, military ID, or a tribal ID. In some cases, other documentation, like utility bills, a lease, bank statements, or other government documents are also sufficient for a patient to register.
