You’ll need an unexpired OK driver’s license or ID, a Tribal ID accepted by the Department of Public Safety, or a US passport or other photo ID issued by the U.S. government to apply. In addition, you’re going to need one document to show proof of residency in the form of the previous year’s OK tax return, or a utility bill from the previous month, including TV or internet, but not cell phone.

Unfortunately, Oklahoma doesn't have any programs like this to help patients yet. In fact, they tax all cannabis sales at a rate of 7%. However, cannabis dispensaries often offer discounts on products.
Growers and processors must test all batches in sections no greater than 10 pounds before cannabis can be sold, transferred or processed. The laboratories must be licensed and have no ownership or financial interest in any dispensaries, processing or cultivation activities.
Patients can purchase up to three ounces of flower, one ounce of concentrate, and 72 ounces of edibles. Possession at home is limited to 8 ounces.
Patients can purchase up to 8 ounces of marijuana at home, 3 ounces of marijuana in public, 1 ounce of marijuana concentrate, 72 ounces of edible medical marijuana products, 72 ounces of topical cannabis, 6 mature plants, and/or 6 seedling plants. The Unity Bill, OMMA, and the Patient Protection Act made it clear that these possession limits are cumulative, and that patients and caregivers can possess all of the amounts listed so long as they hold a valid license: "The rights to possess the marijuana products set forth in section 420 of Title 63 of the Oklahome Statutes are cumulative and a duly licensed individual may possess at any one time the totality of the items listed therein and not be violation of this act so long as the individual hold a valid patient license or caregiver license."
Recreational cannabis isn't legal yet in Oklahoma. Any cannabis purchased by a patient or caregiver is for the patient's use only.
No. Smoking cannabis in public is not allowed in Oklahoma.
Oklahoma doesn't allow convenient medical marijuana delivery services yet, but you have other options. If you need help getting cannabis or having it administered, you can designate a caregiver who can do this for you. Make sure you tell your doctor that you need help so they can add this to your recommendation.
This depends on the state to which you’re traveling. Each state has different rules regarding reciprocity, and some don’t allow it at all. Check with your destination state to learn more.
Yes. You can grow six plants at home. You can also have six seedlings to ensure a continuous supply, but only six of your plants can be adult plants at any given time.
If you or a loved one need to register a caregiver for cannabis procurement or administration, be sure to let your doctor know that you need a caregiver at the time of you exam. The doctor can then add that you need a caregiver to your certification. From there, you'll fill out this form and submit it with your application. Your caregiver will then need to fill out a separate caregiver license application. There is no cost for this application.
Yes, but a minor under 18 requires approval from two independent physicians on a special certification form and a parent or guardian must register as the minor's caregiver.
An Oklahoma medical marijuana card for minor patients is valid for two years from the date it is issued or until the patient turns 18, whichever comes first. Physicians may also issue short-term licenses valid for 60 days.
