Candyland Strain Overview

Candyland, or “Kandyland” as it is commonly referred to as, is a cannabis strain born from two solid diamonds in the cannabis parent pool – Bay Platinum Cookies and Ken’s Granddaddy Purple. The plant’s ravishing golden hairs are offset by the striking sugary trichomes that fuse into the dense, camouflaged broccoli-green nugs.

Mood enhancement, muscle relaxation, and pain relief are just some perks of taking a walk in the Candyland kingdom. Whether you are planning an artistic afternoon or a social gathering, this is a treat that you will want to hold in your pocket.

Strain profile, effects, and common uses are based on customer reviews. Further research is needed, and effects may vary by user. Information on this page does not constitute or replace medical advice.

Candyland Strain Effects & Common Usage

Candyland contains anywhere from 18 to 24% THC and a small dose of CBD, around 1%. Together, these cannabinoids may allow for mind and body relaxation and euphoria.

Uplifted. Limonene and THC may increase feelings of happiness and euphoria.

Energized. The presence of terpenes like limonene in this strain may boost energy rather than deplete your energy levels.

Motivated. Some studies have shown that in low doses, CBD may act as a stimulant, thus increasing motivation.

Stress relief. CBD may help to combat stress by increasing the levels of anandamide, the bliss molecule that mirrors THC in mammals, and blocks stress-induced changes within the 5-HT1A receptors.

Anxiety relief. Limonene and caryophyllene have been shown in research to produce anti-anxiety effects. THC also exerts anti-anxiety effects in low doses.

Depression. Limonene has been found to interact with neurotransmitters to produce antidepressant effects.

Candyland Strain Dosage Recommendations

Candyland is high in THC. While the presence of non-intoxicating compounds like CBD may slightly deter from this strain’s psychotropic effects, beginners and experienced consumers are still advised to start low and slow.

The right dosage can vary greatly from one user to the next. If you have questions about finding the right dosage or product type for your needs, consider consulting with a medical cannabis doctor, or you can request a consultation with NuggMD’s Cannabis Concierge.
