The process to register as a caregiver in Nevada varies depending on if the qualifying patient is an adult or minor.

If the patient is an adult:

Adult patients with caregivers must fill out their own patient application before the caregiver can do so. During the patient’s evaluation, they must let the doctor know they’ll be utilizing a caregiver.
Patients will obtain all necessary documents, apply to the state, and assign a caregiver role while doing so. Part of their application will include uploading the caregiver’s driver’s license or state ID.
