“Before I found cannabis, my pain levels were so bad I couldn’t use my hands. I had heard about cannabis being effective for pain.
After years of ineffective prescriptions, a friend offered me cannabis, I reluctantly decided to try it. In less than twenty minutes after consuming, my hands were pain free and looked normal again.
Unfortunately, my symptoms have worsened with age. However, with the use of cannabis and THC transdermal patches, I’m able to get twelve consecutive hours of relief. I also use vegan THC:CBG 1:1 gummies for inflammation and digestive motility on bad days. While I will never be able to get my life back as I knew it, medical cannabis does make the life I do have worth living.”

“Before my body was basically doing whatever it wanted and I just had to deal with it. My hands would go numb, ache, burn, and it’s like pick a problem 🤷‍♀️ we’re doing all of them, worse at night but also randomly during the day just to keep things interesting. Crohn’s was doing its full body sabotage too, so pain, exhaustion, unpredictability, all of it, and every day was a gamble on how bad it was going to be.
My chronic pain meant there wasn’t really a break, just different levels of tolerable vs not, and mentally I was irritable, crying, exhausted in that way sleep doesn’t fix. Anything that required my hands or my brain, so basically everything, felt like a chore. I tried the whole doctor route, meds and all that, and they just made my other health issues worse, which was real fun. I didn’t have some big hopeful moment either, I just tried cannabis to see if it would work and fully expected it not to, but I hadn’t tried edibles for pain before so it was more of a why not situation.
So, now I use edibles and tinctures, mostly hybrids, sativas, sometimes CBD, morning, noon, and before bed, and somehow it actually helps. The neuropathy is still there but it’s quieter, like it’s not constantly screaming at me, And while Crohn’s is still Crohn’s it’s less “this is ruining my entire existence today”, and my mood isn’t all over the place anymore. I’m not constantly on edge or crashing, I actually have some control back. I’m not cured obviously, but I can function more like a person again, and honestly the biggest difference is I stopped losing myself all the time.

“Before myself doing cannabis, I was always down, anxiety and depression was always high, lack of sleep. worrying and fear came along with that, loss of concentration because my mind was always running and thinking. This all happened from losing family, not having much family or friends , not having a good support team or someone just to talk to, also I do have health issues with my stomach , which is GERD, I also have high blood pressure, and chronic back pain. I tried cannabis to see if it would take away the pain, help with my anxiety and depression, slow my mind some so im not always thinking to where its hard for me to concentrate, hoping it would help me be more relaxed so that I could get some sleep and be more motivated. How my life approved with using cannabis, I found myself able to concentrate more and get alot done, being alot more motivated . My sleeping became so much better , my anxiety and depression wasnt as bad as it was, I was more calmed and relaxed, more happier, the pain from my health issues was better controlled and did not bother me as much. I now feel like a new and improved person. I never thought cannabis could make me feel so much better in health wise, and with my personal life and doings. Im always in a good mood smiling all the time, always getting up and doing something instead of sitting on the couch . Life has been so much better !”

“Ive struggled with eating, sleeping, and muscular skeletal pain as long as I can remember. It really started effecting me in my teens. I started regularly seeing a chiropractor at 16, and using the gym at 19. It barely helped. I never did anything as a kid, no drinking, no stealing, and definitely never any weed. I thought it was bad. At 23, i was taking ibuprofen daily. I was so miserable and had no reasons why. Im realizing it now may be meds. So i tried weed. It helped every issue. I felt like a new person. I actually felt hope again. Its saved my marriage and helped me work through my cptsd.”

While further study is needed, early indications suggest cannabis may be effective in addressing a number of symptoms related to gastrointestinal issues.
If you’re considering cannabis for relief from gastrointestinal distress, nausea, or other digestive issues, the first step is to speak with a qualified practitioner for a medical evaluation.
Certain medications may interact with cannabis, depending on your method of consumption. Speaking with a certified medical cannabis doctor can ensure you get the right products and dosage so you feel your best faster and with fewer side effects.
Many states list gastrointestinal issues, eating disorders, nausea, cachexia, and related conditions and symptoms as qualifying conditions. Others allow qualified doctors to prescribe medical cannabis for any condition they believe it can help treat.
With NuggMD, you can speak with a doctor online in as little as 15 minutes with no appointment necessary. And if you aren’t approved, you automatically get your money back!
Medical cannabis is held to stricter standards than hemp THC. Products are tested for purity and potency, giving med card holders higher quality, safer products for more consistent effects.
Medical dispensaries tend to offer a wider product selection than recreational shops, including high CBD strains, 1:1 CBD/THC edibles, higher potency products, and more. And in many locations, med card holders receive patient-only discounts, steep tax savings, faster ordering, the ability to grow their own plants at home, and inventory guarantees so you can always trust you’ll find a product that works for your needs.
Due to federal cannabis laws, medical cannabis consultations aren’t covered by insurance. However, a Medicare pilot program may cover the cost of some CBD products after receiving your med card. And with NuggMD your provider either approves you for cannabis or you get your money back.
Each state has its own patient-approval process. In some states, you can begin purchasing cannabis the same day you complete your doctor evaluation. If you’re required to register with your state, we’ll provide clear guidance to help you complete all necessary steps after receiving your doctor certification.
There’s no script. Speak honestly about your symptoms, how they affect your day-to-day life, and any treatments you’ve tried. Your provider will use this information to decide if medical cannabis may help.
With NuggMD, if you’re not approved get your money back, automatically. We believe everyone deserves access to a qualified medical cannabis doctor, and the cost of an evaluation shouldn’t be a barrier.
If you’re not approved for your medical marijuana certification, your evaluation is free.
If you sign up and pay for your evaluation, but then cancel before your evaluation, there is a small $10 fee for the payment processing.
Once you’ve been approved and issued your certification, a refund for services will no longer be available. Please send an email to support@nuggmd.com with the subject line “Refund Request” and a brief description of your issue.
