Rebecca Olmos

Rebecca Olmos is a cannabis enthusiast, writer, and California native currently residing in the Bay Area. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from CSU East Bay, where her passion for journalism, writing, and cannabis collided. She started writing for the campus newspaper, The Pioneer and has been writing and sharing her cannabis journey since (@thatcannabiswriter).

 

Rebecca is passionate about sharing the history, culture, and science of cannabis with the public. Her work has been featured in publications like The Weed Blog, Miss Marijuana Official, and Mdrn Day Muse. In addition to her work with NuggMD, she writes for the Cannifornian and Chemistry blogs. When she’s not writing about cannabis (or publishing her poetry), you can find Rebecca budtending at her local dispensary, visiting bookstores, attending live music events, watching Real Housewives, or hiking with her husky/golden retriever mix, Atlas.
